We want to start off this blog by saying we are sorry for waiting so long to update. There hasn't been a lot of school going on for the past few weeks so there really hasn't been too much to report. We promise, however, that there will be new videos and posts soon!
Anyway, this week has been a planning week and we are actually pretty excited about getting back into the classroom. For one thing, we got books. FINALLY! A book for every class will be very nice indeed. No more having to scour the internet for hours looking for a suitable lesson. This way we actually get to plan out the classes for the week and not feel like the kids are getting gypped out of a good lesson.
School begins Wednesday and we are currently on a five-day weekend, so we have decided to go to Busan for the weekend and shop at Costco for some nice Western food. Then it's on to our six month long-haul until our contract ends. From there we will be taking a month-long (or maybe longer) tour of Europe. And then we'll get to be home and see family and friends.
These first four months have flown by and we feel like we have gained a wealth of knowledge from being here. Having to get by without knowing the native language and making it through cultural differences has had its challenges but has mostly been a fun experience.
So, here we go again!
