Halloweeeeeen!

Here we've got our pumpkins.

And here's our creepy skeleton guy. He glows in the dark.

Anyway. It's all good fun. We just wish there was a chance to go door to door and beg for candy, but we don't think that would work out very well for us, so I think we'll watch some cheesy movies instead. Anything to bring us back home for a little bit.

So, in other news, this Saturday we are performing at GIC Day here in Gwangju. This is sort of awkward. We aren't performers in the least bit, but here we are being asked to play our songs at all these events. This will be our third time and our biggest one by far. Pretty interesting. We'll be playing two songs that you all probably know: Hey Korea! and Come Visit Me. Plus we will be playing two new songs that we are sort still in the process of writing right now. Hopefully we won't be a disaster (we haven't been a complete disaster yet). And if we are, that's ok too.

Anyways, hope everything is cool on the home-front. All you guys should send us a message sometime letting us know how things are going. We don't really ever hear from any of you. KEEP IN TOUCH!

Love ya'll.

Performances...

Well, we've had two performances with songs that we've written. Both times, the feedback completely freaked out on us. Today's was a little bit much. In the middle of the song the speakers squealed for a solid 6 seconds and I couldn't even hear myself playing the guitar, much less Emily singing next to me. Needless to say it wasn't my (Jason's) best performance.

People seemed to like it though, and we've gotten the word out about our youtube page a little bit too. People really like our videos, but the subscribers are still pretty low. We'll see, I guess. We continue to make them for people back home. That's how we started and how we will finish. If along the way we get more popular on youtube then that's cool too.

On another note...school is good. We like it. We're still in the contest. There's only one day of voting left. We hope it's not too pretentious to ask for a day off before voting is finished, but oh well. We're in 6th position and that hasn't changed in a long while. I think we should be good.

So, if we make the top 10, we will be traveling to Seoul to see if we won the 10 magazine Korea Awaits video contest! Hoorah.  Even in the last place of the top 10, we'll get really cool prizes. We're going to make a day of it and just have fun, win or lose. I can't wait to go up to Seoul again. We'll be taking a relaxing train there, going to the conference, then to a nice dinner somewhere, then back home.

And that's all for now. Sorry there hasn't been any posts lately. We'll do better. We promise!  Love to all the family and friends back home. We miss you terribly.
